Just watched both Avatar & Storm Warrior II… guess it is a marathon on movie for me, as both movie sum up to be 5 hours
Well many had commented Storm Warrior II sucks, but do you know that how much effort people had put in to make this film successful? For my personal humble opinion, i find that both Avatar, Storm Warrior II or even 2012… was just great
It all depends on how you actually see the story behind, are you just watching the movie for the sake of animation, or like what the avatar driver mention “understand the trees and plants from their point of view” If you happen to just watch for the sake of watching, take my advise, don’t waste your money. If you grab hold of one of the character, and try to be in his shoe and position, this will totally change the whole point of the art of watching a movie. (I start learning this when the show Mighty Joe Young filmed)
Often, when you are in office, your superior will tell you, you are not going a good job, and your work is lousy, or even why is your sales so bad vs other people, yeah, just like what you commented, the movie sucks.
But many times, they forget, unless you can do better than me, or you could give me a better solution or idea on how to make things work better, else keep your mouth shut.
Many people forget, that they like to criticize, but they often forget to give constructive feedback on how to make it better (or perhaps they don’t even know how, all they like is to criticize, criticize and criticize)
To be a better person who can excel further, before you criticize on something bad, think about it, can i do a better job for it, do i have any better idea on making this better, how could they improve from here first… (then you can start inputting your thoughts)
When i was working in MNC, what i learned is that i would always need to assist my staff excel, be it personally or at work place… hence, giving constructive feedback always win them than giving criticization.
Before we start criticizing on something, lets put our thinking cap on… as there is a say in Chinese “think three times before you start taking action”
