Upon recent update of Jetpack plugins for WordPress, I had received the following Error Message:
Your site could not connect to WordPress.com via HTTPS. This could be due to any number of reasons, including faulty SSL certificates, misconfigured or missing SSL libraries, or network issues.
Upon investigation on my log, it is a very common problem if you are using Shared Hosting Services whereby your hosting provider blocked HTTPS connectivity for certain sites due to attack.
To resolve this problem, locate your wp-config.php
define( ‘JETPACK_CLIENT__HTTPS’, ‘NEVER’ );
and have the above line of code add into it.
You will bypass Jetpack Client using HTTPS to connect into its server.
